Her motivation all started with a boy named Lane Goodwin, who was battling pediatric cancer. She began to do more research and became heavily involved in helping and donating to children suffering with pediatric cancer.

Many of the charities she donates to are pediatric-cancer-related charities. Others types of charities that she includes down syndrome, autism, military vets, and type 1 diabetes.
