I wanted to put the spotlight on upcoming small businesses. I know how hard it is to get a business booming, so I am here to help showcase some amazing businesses who deserve more recognition than the receive.

TLPBrownSugarBabies is a black owned Etsy shop striving to give little girls dolls that look like them. Often times, as young black children, we struggle to find a doll that represents us and what we look like. TLPBrownSugarBabies plans to change that narrative. Tanya Powell hand creates these amazing crochet dolls in all types of shades. She made sure to take into account the beauty of our hair, shades of our skin, and unique style from our culture.
