Mia Anyinke, the founder of Tribes Of Kin, was born and raised in Cameroon and is currently living in Brooklyn, NY. She is influenced by her African heritage, culture and the importance of the African community. She especially holds her grandmother in high regards, who instilled in her perseverance, hard work and determination at a very early age. Tribes of Kin is a lifestyle brand for kindred spirits of the African Diaspora was established as a tribute to her beloved grandmother who passed. It takes an immense amount of creativity and hard work to create such gorgeous clothing that showcase the power of African heritage.
