I wanted to put the spotlight on upcoming small businesses. I know how hard it is to get a business booming, so I am here to help showcase some amazing businesses who deserve more recognition than the receive.

The Beaded Pony is a shop, based in Florida, that sells amazing handmade jewelry. (owner) is a horse enthusiast and many of her pieces are inspired by horses. Shop owner Alex Corenthal always had a love for creating jewelry. The declining health of her horse, Hennessey, is what mainly inspired to turn her hobby into a business. With this shop, she was able to help gather enough money to help her horse.

Alex uses her knowledge of bead stringing, pearl knotting and wire-work in conjuncture with skills learned while getting her AAS in Jewelry Design with a concentration in Studio from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Check out her jewelry below:
